Detailed Description
Reporting to the Tribe Lead – Segment Marketing, the position holder will as a custodian of the Youth Segment portfolio, be responsible to lead an end to end insight led youth segment squad to acquire, grow and retain segment customers by providing differentiated experience that positions Safaricom as the brand for the Youth and efficiently manage the segment P&L.
Key Responsibilities:
End to end accountability of the segment from insights and foresights development, relevant youth proposition and customer journeys.
Responsible for segment NPS, Brand love, consideration and revenue.
Clear roadmap for the youth portfolio to deliver on mission KPIs.
Ownership of segment GTM strategy and publicity opex while driving efficiency to deliver maximum ROI value for the segment.
Manage the agency creative development process and resourcing levels required for Safaricom to ensure delivery of above the line, and below the line advertising materials for execution.
Stakeholder management across the business to deliver brilliant executions for the benefit of the youth customer and the business.
People responsibility for the squad to ensure team members and ready, willing and able to deliver the mission for the segment.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must have technical / professional qualifications:
A degree in marketing, business administration.
Demonstratable experience in driving a youth focused business successfully.
10 years’ experience in an Advertising managerial position function with a focus on brand management and advertising
Strong creative and conceptual skills.
Attention to detail with excellent interpersonal and communications skills
An excellent planner and organizer
