Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Management Accountant to join our team, a leading liquor distribution company. The Management Accountant will play a crucial role in overseeing financial operations, providing strategic insights, and supporting decision-making processes within the organization. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate financial information effectively.
GROSS SALARY; 50-60K
Responsibilities
Conduct detailed financial analysis to support business decision-making and strategic planning.
Analyze financial data, performance metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
Collaborate with department heads and senior management to develop annual budgets and financial forecasts.
Monitor budgetary performance throughout the year, providing insights and recommendations to ensure financial objectives are met.
Evaluate cost structures and identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements.
Monitor and analyze product costs, including raw materials, production, and distribution costs, to ensure profitability and competitiveness.
Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
Ensure adherence to internal controls and financial policies, identifying and addressing any compliance issues.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making processes.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred.
Proven experience as a Management Accountant or similar role is a must preferably in the liquor distribution industry.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting standards.
Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting techniques.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate insights effectively.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial management software.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
