Required Qualifications for Senior Lecturer:
An earned a PhD in Education, IT, Public Health and a Master’s degree in a related field from an accredited university.
At least three (3) years of teaching experience at the university level as a Lecturer, with a demonstrable record in research and publication.
A minimum of 32 publication points as a Lecturer, with at least 24 referred scholarly journals.
Required Experience:
Proven experience teaching in a hybrid environment (face-to-face and online).
Supervised at least three (3) postgraduate students’ theses to completion.
Strong commitment to mentoring students and faculty in research methodologies.
Evidence of ability to attract research funding and lead research projects.
Demonstrated success in interdisciplinary collaboration and community engagements related to research.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the areas of Public Health, Education (Science), and Information Technology.
Supervise and mentor postgraduate students in their research projects and dissertations.
Conduct high-quality research publications in peer-reviewed journals.
Develop and implement innovative research strategies that align with the University’s mission.
Engage with the academic community and participate in conferences and workshops.
Contribute to curriculum development and enhancement of research capacity within the University.
