Senior Holiday Planner

JOB PURPOSE

As a Senior Holiday Planner, in organizing the holiday plans of the client and advise them accordingly. . Your responsibilities will include sales and promotions to potential clients, reservations. You will play a pivotal role in achieving set revenue goals and targets while ensuring exceptional customer service and fostering strong relationships with agents and clients.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Address International travel Agents needs promptly and accurately and make bookings for holiday affiliated services i.e., flights, accommodation, transport etc.
Handle sales leads and inquiries, converting them into confirmed sales.
Prepare quotations, itineraries, and invoices efficiently.
Assist in onboarding new accounts  and Preparation of sales Reports.
Build and maintain strong relationships with International Agents, business suppliers and ensure optimal customer satisfaction.
Prepare and submit sales reports on a regular basis and contribute in preparation of sales strategies, plans and execution.
Provide market intelligence to support sales and marketing efforts.
Participate in sales promotion campaigns to increase sales.
Monitor business trends, client feedback and Collaborate with the Sales Support team
Provide  Excellent customer service as needed, enhancing guest satisfaction.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND TRAITS

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field.
Proven experience in sales and reservations within the hospitality industry, particularly in safari tourism.
Effective communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet targets.
Proficiency in relevant software applications.
Knowledge of safari destinations, accommodations, and activities preferred.
Teamwork, professionalism, and adherence to company policies.
