Senior Director – Treasury Sales

JOB DESCRIPTION:  
We are seeking a dynamic Senior Director of Treasury Sales to lead our expansion efforts across Africa and the Middle East. In this crucial individual contributor role, you will shape and execute a product-focused strategy, ensuring our treasury services are strategically tailored, competitive, and poised for success in diverse markets.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership:

Cultivate a culture of collaboration and results-driven excellence.

Strategy Development:

Shape and drive the strategic trajectory of treasury sales across existing and new customer segments.
Leverage data-driven insights to analyze market trends and align offerings with evolving customer needs.

Client Relationships:

Foster and nurture robust relationships with key clients, understanding their unique requirements and aligning our services seamlessly.

Product Collaboration:

Collaborate closely with cross-functional product teams to enhance and refine treasury products based on client feedback and regional demand.

Sales Targets:

Provide insightful sales forecasts and comprehensive reports to senior management to meet ambitious sales targets.

Risk Management:

Remain current on regional regulations, market dynamics, and economic indicators, collaborating internally to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.

Training & Development:

Oversee continuous training and development initiatives for the sales team, keeping them well-versed in product enhancements, market trends, and regional subtleties.

Tech Integration:

Advocate for innovative financial technologies’ integration within our treasury services, collaborating with tech teams to enhance user experiences and product efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related fields. Master’s/MBA is a plus.
Comprehensive familiarity with the financial landscapes of Africa and the Middle East.
Strong understanding of financial regulations and market dynamics in the African and Middle Eastern contexts.
Outstanding communication skills for building robust relationships and effective collaboration.
Proficiency in data analysis and sales forecasting techniques.
Flexibility to frequently travel across specified regions

Experience required:

Familiarity with key players in Africa and the Middle East markets.
A minimum of 10 years of treasury sales experience, including at least 5 years as a dealer.
Good understanding of the fintech space and experience working with multiple currencies.
Exceptional comprehension of financial technology and its applications in treasury services.
