Senior Business Support Manager

We are looking for a Senior Business Support Manager to join our Strategy and Operations team, driving alignment and collaboration across Kenya’s commercial functions. Reporting to the Head of Operations, Kenya, you’ll play a key role in delivering our quarterly and annual business objectives while fostering impactful partnerships and innovative marketing strategies.

What You’ll Be Doing

As the Senior Business Support Manager, you’ll oversee and guide the Marketing, Partnerships, and Strategy & Operations functions in Kenya. Your responsibilities will include:

Partnerships and Project Management:

Overseeing the Kenya Partnerships Manager to nurture relationships with key partners like Safaricom, Airtel, and Turaco.
Driving partnership strategies to identify growth opportunities and ensure partners deliver on commitments to our customers.

Strategy and Operations:

Leading the Strategy and Operations department, including managing product lifecycles and coordinating market launches.
Conducting competitive analysis to keep our product portfolio innovative and aligned with customer needs.
Supporting the Kenya Leadership Team in executing high-priority commercial initiatives.

Marketing:

Developing and executing marketing strategies to drive customer acquisition and retention, ensuring alignment with company goals.
Monitoring marketing campaigns to optimize return on investment.

Cross-Functional Leadership:

Implementing key projects and pilots across Kenya’s commercial functions.
Coordinating the execution of initiatives to achieve Kenya’s strategic goals.

What We’re Looking For
To excel in this role, you’ll need:

Experience supporting commercial teams, with a background in operations or project management preferred.
Familiarity with the PAYGO industry and an understanding of M-KOPA’s products and markets.
Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Strategic thinking, analytical abilities, and problem-solving skills.
A proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
