Job Description
Manage bid operations and ensure complete proposal preparation; timely submission with total compliance to the company processes.
Lead the bidding process as assigned by his/her manager.
Lead the review of the bid pipeline with sales teams.
Identifying opportunities for bid submission.
Coordinate major projects during the bid process until handover for implementation.
Review of tender documents on receipt to ensure its completeness.
Organize and take part in bid initiation, review meeting, managing pre-tender procedures.
Ensure that clarifications are raised well in time to get better clarity on bid submission.
Co-ordinate & follow-up to ensuring post bid clarifications are addressed.
Assist the sales team to prepare an Opportunity Review for bid / no bid decision.
Compile and analyze bid data.
Prepare budgets and securing the necessary funding to meet bid management needs.
Report on bid management plans and giving monthly status reports to senior management.
Ensure that commercial submissions to tenders are fully complied with all necessary details.
Proactively work with the Procurement Group to ensure Vendors RFQ Technical and Commercial Bid Evaluations are completed in a timely manner.
Prepare / Review the preparation of the construction schedule, providing man hours and equipment requirement for each activity and also ensure correctness to capture anticipated duration and manning.
Develop and streamline processes to improve the bid function and interfaces with the rest of the Company.
Propose modification to the proposal process, where appropriate, to meet customers specific needs.
Assist in training bid management team and sales staff where necessary on an ongoing basis.
Develop and implement a bid library.
Prepare cost sheets and budgets of projects at the bidding phase.
Review and act upon the client’s enquiries, commercial terms and conditions to avail all requirements.
Cooperate with different technical and business teams to build the techno-commercial proposals.

Technical Skills
Minimum 5 years experience in a senior bidding role.
EPRA Class A/B.
Engineer registration with ERP.
NCA certified.
Education
Bachelors in Electrical Engineering
