Job Description
The Senior Account Manager’s role is to develop communication and marketing campaigns for various brands, oversee a portfolio of assigned customers, develop new business from existing clients, actively seek new sales opportunities and coordinate and execute implementation of the projects.
Responsibilities
You will be required to create and develop a range of communications strategies that align with business and specific project objectives
You will meet with key stakeholders to thoroughly understand their Brand needs and challenges and then compile and roll out complex experiential strategies and provide sound advice and support where required.
Development of trade and consumer activations for brands
Identify and grow opportunities within territory
Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
Prepare reports on account status, develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas. Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
Coordinate planning and execution of multiple key events may include product activations, conferences, summits, seminars, receptions, dinners, golf outings, leadership off-sites, multi-day client events and other corporate events
Manage all aspects of the event operation including reporting, production, management of other internal or external vendors, onsite execution, budgeting and expense tracking.
Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives. Ensure SLA’s (Service Level Agreements) are monitored and achieved throughout the event planning process,
Additional responsibilities include adherence to all of our client’s compliance-related requirements and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Be proactive with ideas, concepts and creative solutions
Field questions and offer advice to team members to assist with creative problem solving
Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits
Any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor
Requirements
Minimum 2 years’ experience in developing communication and marketing campaigns for brands
Must be detail oriented, resourceful, proactive, creative and flexible, possessing a “can do” attitude
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level
Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities
Ability to manage a team
Excellent project management skills
Ability to work and maneuver through a process driven company
Ability to take direction and work independently
Ability to prioritize and multi-task; work under tight deadlines
Ability to work extended hours and travel when required
Education qualification:
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Communications
