Job Description:
Position Overview: The Security Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing all security operations at our manufacturing plant. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating potential security risks.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate the activities of the security team, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
Implement and enforce security policies and procedures to safeguard the manufacturing plant, its employees, and assets.
Conduct regular patrols to monitor premises, identify security vulnerabilities, and ensure compliance with security protocols.
Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms, and take appropriate action to address the situation.
Maintain accurate records of security-related activities, including incident reports, shift logs, and access control records.
Collaborate with other departments, such as operations and human resources, to address security concerns and develop comprehensive security solutions.
Conduct investigations into security breaches, thefts, or other incidents, and work with law enforcement as necessary to resolve issues.
Stay informed about current security trends, technologies, and best practices, and make recommendations for improvements to enhance the effectiveness of security measures.
Qualifications:
Minimum of [4] years of experience in security operations, with at least [2] years in a supervisory or leadership role.
Diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, security management, or a related field preferred.
Strong knowledge of security principles, practices, and techniques, with the ability to apply them effectively in a manufacturing environment.
Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Proficiency in using security systems, such as CCTV, access control systems, and alarm systems.
Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, with the capacity to make sound decisions in emergency situations.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
