Key responsibilities:
Ensuring safe custody of all company assets by monitoring and controlling the movement of vehicles, people and goods onto and off company premises,
Leading and managing investigations of all reported incidents, including fraud and advice management on corrective action
Leading and managing contracted third-party security service providers to meet the company’s requirement
Ensuring that the company’s representation in court on security matters is adhered to and appropriate report to management is made
Ensuring compliance with company security and safety measures including carrying out spot checks
Leading security surveys, conducting security audits, and reviewing security measures on existing projects to ensure appropriate measures
Ensuring induction and training of third-party security staff in line with the company policies and guidelines
Leading in the provision of security information and awareness and leading in best practices
Ensuring installation and maintenance of security systems and equipment
Requirements
Qualifications required:
Minimum academic qualification: University Degree
Qualifications as an added advantage: Postgraduate diploma in business management
Professional registration: N/A
Experience required:
General work experience (years): Ten years
Specific to the position (level/discipline/years): Five years
Industry: Two years
