KONE, one of the global leaders in the elevator and escalator industry has an exciting opportunity for an energetic and experienced Salesperson for our Kenya office, based in Nairobi. Reporting into the Sales Director the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the sales team in Kenya.
We’re looking for a results-driven sales representative to actively seek out and engage customer prospects. The successful candidate will provide complete and appropriate solutions for every customer in order to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels and profitability.
Responsibilities
Present, promote and sell KONE products and services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers
Proactively develop and create customer relationships in their area of responsibility
Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
Growing KONE’s position in their customer base and market assigned area
Ensure customer satisfaction and solve complaints with the rest of KONE team
Document the customer and contact information and maintain customer data
Create repair leads, opportunities, orders and contracts to meet the repair sales budget and pricing targets
Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
Validate that the contents of the order received from the customer are in line with the negotiation process outcome, including terms and conditions, quality and safety
Accountable for hand-over to installation, maintenance and/or engineering with complete and correct information
Maintain full information of opportunities, tasks and visits and presented on a monthly basis
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of sales experience in construction or related industries
Prior knowledge of the elevator/escalator industry will be an added advantage
Excellent English language skills both written and verbal
