Vacant: FMCG Sales and Marketing Training Manager
Our client in the FMCG Industry is looking to hire a Sales & Marketing Training Manager.
Workstation: Nairobi
Job Purpose;
The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating and delivering the training needs of the sales and marketing departments
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
Conduct skills gap analyses to identify areas of improvement
Design training curricula
Produce physical and digital educational material
Plan, implement and manage sales educational workshops and field-based training
Coordinate individual and team performance review sessions to discuss strengths and weaknesses
Report on impact of training programs (e.g., sales achieved)
Liaise with external trainers or industry professionals to organize training programs and keep abreast of latest training methodologies
Set up and monitor training budget
Maintain up to date records of training material, curricula and budgets
Skills and Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Sales and Marketing or any relevant field.
• Additional certification in training is a plus
5 years’ experience as a Sales Trainer or a similar role
Experience in a sales position
Ability to manage the full training cycle, including in-person activities and web-based learning
Hands-on experience with e-learning platforms
Excellent organizational skills
Solid communication and presentation abilities
Building and Managing Relationships
Great communication skills and Interpersonal skills
Managing and Developing Performance
