The sales trainer will drive frontline training for the field sales and delivery teams. He/she will lead the development of short- and medium-term training and development for this group. They will ensure a high level of knowledge and competencies within the field sales and delivery team.
Location: Kenya, with frequent travel to the regional offices
Duties & Responsibilities:
Minimum 3 years proven work experience as a sales trainer and field-based coach in FMCG.
Minimum 5 years hands on experience in field-based sales within FMCG industry
Ability to conduct skills gap analyses to identify areas of improvement
Monitor sales objectives and results of each sales rep to assess training impact
Monitor customer service NPS scores for delivery agents
Onboard new salespeople and drivers by conducting orientation to sales process, conducting market orientation by scheduling market visits with senior reps and providing resources and assistance
Collect feedback from trainers and managers about training programs
Maintain updated records of all trainings
Experience developing training content
Requirements:
University degree in relevant area e.g., Sales & Marketing
Relevant IT skills and experience with e-learning platforms
Ability to work independently
Excellent communication, coaching and presentation skills
Certification in training will be an added advantage
The role will entail travel across Sokowatch regional offices
