Sales Team Lead

Purpose of the role

Generate new business revenue
Account management (End-end sales cycle management)
Sales team management

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee Sales Operations:

Supervise and manage day-to-day sales activities, ensuring smooth execution of processes and alignment with company goals.

Generating new businesses to increase revenue:

Identify potential leads, convert them into opportunities, and ensure that all prospects are well-informed about the company’s products and services.

Sales Team Management and Performance Monitoring:

Set clear, measurable goals for the sales team, provide regular feedback, and track performance through detailed reporting to the director.

Training and Mentoring:

Provide in-house training, coaching, and mentorship to sales team members to improve their sales strategies, product knowledge, and overall performance.

Market and Sales Activity Coordination:

Plan and lead sales activities in various marketplaces, including organizing site visits for prospective clients and staying informed about industry trends and developments in interior design.

Cross-Department Collaboration:

Work closely with other departments to address customer needs, ensuring seamless communication and service delivery across all client interactions.

Team Leader requirements

A bachelor’s degree in a relevant business degrees
3-5 years of sales experience
At least 2 + years of B2B experience
Interior design experience
Proven work experience as a team leader or supervisor responsible for a sales team
Experience working with sales processes to optimize optimize team performance
Excellent interpersonal skills
Able to work well under pressure & with minimum supervision to meet targets
Excellent communication & presentation skills
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Excellent time management skills
Excellent Computer Skills
High level of integrity
Can think outside the box to ensure sales targets are achieved
