Sales Supervisor Alcoholic Beverages Online Store Assistant Manager – Construction Materials

Job Purpose:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Supervisor to join our dynamic team in an alcoholic beverage company. The Sales Supervisor will be responsible for managing a team of foot soldiers, devising effective strategies to acquire new customers, and driving the distribution and sales of our products within the designated areas. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in expanding the market presence, achieving sales targets, and contributing to the overall growth of the company.

Roles & Responsibilities

Supervise and guide a team of foot soldiers responsible for on-ground sales activities.
Plan efficient routes for the foot soldier team to optimize time and resources.
Set clear sales targets and objectives for the foot soldier team.
Analyze market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to develop targeted sales strategies.
Identify opportunities for product placement, promotions, and visibility enhancement within the assigned areas.
Identify potential customers and establish strong relationships to drive customer loyalty and repeat business.
Develop and implement strategies to attract new customers and expand the customer base.
Monitor team performance against targets and take corrective actions as needed to ensure goals are met.
Ensure adequate product availability and distribution to meet customer demand.
Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to optimize inventory levels.
Generate regular sales reports and provide insights into sales performance, market trends, and customer behavior.
Use data-driven insights to refine strategies and enhance decision-making.
Calculate and manage commission payouts for the foot soldier team based on sales performance.
Develop and implement incentive programs to motivate and reward top performers.
Utilize the provided company vehicle for sales-related activities and ensure its proper maintenance.
Provide training, coaching, and regular performance evaluations to ensure the team’s effectiveness.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Proven experience in sales management, preferably within the alcoholic/beverage industry.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a diverse team.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
Analytical mindset with the capability to interpret sales data and market trends.
In-depth knowledge of local regulations and restrictions governing the sale of alcoholic products.
Proficiency in using sales and customer relationship management (CRM) software.
Valid driver’s license and the ability to operate a delivery van.
