You will always go the extra mile and do what it takes to ensure that Senga understands our customers’ needs, and that we succeed. You are flexible and build productive, trustworthy relationships with our team and our customers. You are an autodidact; product, market and environmentalnknowledge are key for this role, and not all of these can be directly imparted by the executive team. 

What we are looking for in you (the short of it)

You have:

Experience helping or leading a start-up into growth-phase sales; we want you to help our scaling efforts
Excellent communication ability, including when under pressure or in a crisis
A record of outperformance in previous roles; this is non-negotiable
An ability to train and nurture team members to bring the best out of them 
Experience building and/or running a sales team, including sales planning, territory design and mapping, quota and compensation setting, hiring, and headcount planning is preferred but not required
A strong drive to succeed, and hold yourself and others to high standards
Infallible ethics and integrity
Experience selling services and/or software

Qualifications (the long of it)

4+ years of experience in a senior sales role, interacting with senior leaders
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Experience in the logistics, retail, supply chain, or technology (software) industries
Experience in selling to SMEs & Enterprise clients
Experience in building, managing, coaching and mentoring sales teams
Verifiable exceptional achievement of sales goals
Experience in creating a repeatable and scalable sales process
Sales metrics analysis experience
Strong presentation and communication skills
Strategic and hands-on attitude
Ability to experiment and iterate quickly
Technologically savvy
A scientific approach to sales

Exceedingly committed to hitting aggressive sales targets and outpacing the competition
Well versed in the renegade sales approaches required in young companies; get hands dirty across the entire sales process
Easy to work with, personable individual who enjoys working in a collaborative environment
