JOB PURPOSE STATEMENT:
The Sales Representative – HoReCa is responsible for driving sales and expanding market presence within the Hotel, Restaurant, and Catering (HoReCa) sector. This role involves identifying and securing new business opportunities, nurturing relationships with existing clients, and promoting the company’s innovative plant-based products. The aim is to increase revenue and market share by delivering exceptional service and tailored solutions that meet the unique needs of HoReCa customers, thereby contributing to the overall growth and success of the company.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
New Business Development: Actively seeking out new sales opportunities and potential clients through various methods such as cold calling, networking, and referrals.
Manage Existing Customers: Interacting with existing customers to understand their needs, preferences, and purchase intentions.
Collections Management: Overseeing the timely collection of payments from customers to ensure smooth cash flow and financial stability.
Supporting Marketing Activities: Assisting in the execution of marketing campaigns and promotional events. Providing feedback on customer preferences and market trends to the marketing team. Collaborating on the development of sales materials and product presentations.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
Education background in Sales and Marketing, Business Management or any other related fields
Minimum of two years of experience in direct sales in the HoReCa industry
Must be able to prepare management reports and correspondence
Proficiency in using MS Office Suite
Good organization skills and results driven
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong sales acumen with the ability to understand customer needs and present solutions accordingly.
Self-motivated and driven to achieve and exceed sales targets.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
