About the Team
The Sales team is responsible for taking the product to market and getting the best returns for our farmers’ hard work. We build long-term sustainable business relationships with different segments of customers, and go the extra mile to best meet their needs.
As a team we also look at global and national trends and make sure we can anticipate future demand to be on top of the latest developments in the industry. Market research is done on a continuous basis to see where new opportunities may arise – be it in value-addition, processing, export or product diversification. 
About this Role
As a Sales Representative, you will interface with Komaza’s customers as our main point of sales, close deals, and deliver great customer experience. You will also build and maintain relationships with customers, share relevant information gained through customer interactions.
This role can be based in either of our office locations across Kenya (Nairobi, Kilifi, Olkalou and Naivasha).  
What You Will Do

Identify potential customers through market research, scouting and networking
Prioritize leads and keep your pipeline active
Plan and execute outreach to potential customers and follow through
Effectively present Komaza’s products to match the customer’s needs and close the sale
Track all appointments, sales, complaints, status reports, etc. thoroughly for manager review
Preparing weekly and monthly reports

What You Should Have

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree
1+ year experience in customer acquisition / field sales
Strong written and verbal communication skills 
A high degree of self-motivation and resilience 
Experience working in fast-paced, demanding environment of a fast-growth company and comfortable with a changing environment
Experience in wood products or construction materials is a plus
