BASIC FUNCTION
To actively seek and engage customers prospects. To generate and follow up on sales lead. Make product sales presentations, and marketing additional products to interested buyers. Negotiate pricing with customers. Processing payments, issuing receipts, and assisting customers who experience problems with products they have purchased.
REQUIREMENTS
Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Sales and Marketing or Purchasing and supply management.
A minimum of 2 years in sales and distribution within the FMCG Industry.
Working knowledge in the respective area will be an added advantage.
Possession of a clean and valid driving license.
Practical experience in use of MS packages and ERP systems.

JOB DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales Planning and Optimization 50%
Planning and executing solutions for the sales team to deliver to customers;
Keeping count of every item in the van;
Maintaining existing customers and recruiting new potential customers;
Daily reconciliation with the Route to Market manager upon return from the field every evening;
Daily transfers of stock from the warehouse to the van every morning;
Introducing new stock varieties into the market and marketing Jeyfine Wines as a company wholly;
Identifying business opportunities with current and prospective customers;
Analyzing opportunities by researching the industry and market trends;
Preparing reports by collecting sales information and statistics;
Adjusting content sales presentations by studying the type of sales outlets and other trade factors
Monitoring competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques;
Recommending changes in product, service and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments;
Planning, coordinating and monitoring sales and evaluating results;
Identifying any systems improvement and making recommendations for change;
Continuously reviewing ways to aid efficiency, add value and reduce costs as well as supporting continuous improvement initiatives;
Ensuring health and safety meets the required standards and that risk assessments are carried out;
Maintaining inventory by conducting monthly physical counts; reconciling variances; inputting data
Selling products and services using solid arguments to prospective customers
Performing cost-benefit analyses of existing and potential customers
Maintaining positive business relationships to ensure future sales.
Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers
Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs

Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
