We are seeking to hire a Sales Officer interested in a truly unique entrepreneurial opportunity to create impact on a global scale as part of our Commercial Team.
Responsibilities
The Commercial team ensures that Mobius Motors has unmatched end-to-end customer experience that reinforces the brand and builds enduring loyalty. This encompasses the following areas:
Marketing – Customer insight-driven go-to-market strategy built around high-impact brand building and efficient execution that resonates with our customers
Salesforce – Optimised, strategic sales tools, performance management, and resource deployment to serve our customers
Network + Distribution – Scalable high-performance network executing disciplined sales and service operations to provide a high-quality, seamless customer experience and a consistent brand experience
Aftersales – Market-leading service operations executed with speed, quality and customer-first commitment
Every member of the Commercial team takes responsibility for supporting the business needs above, which may require expanding responsibilities as needed, additional learning, and tackling new professional challenges beyond what is reflected in this Job Description.
Functional Areas
Responsibilities
Sales Generation
Prospecting: Identify and evaluate potential target buyers and local vehicle agent partners
Sales Pitch: Deliver a polished, professional, and compelling sales pitch to all potential customers
Sales Conversion: Convert potential customers into actual buyers
Sales Administration
Financing: Liase with the Finance Department for appropriate finance options
Sales Documentation: Verify accuracy and completeness of all sales documentation as per the customer (B2B & B2C)
Vehicle registration and delivery: Support vehicle registration and ensure timely vehicle delivery with all relevant documents
Customer Support
Add-ons: Support customers in identifying external suppliers for any additional vehicle modifications
Aftersales Support: Provide comprehensive aftersales support and resolution to any problems
Customer Retention: Support the creation and implementation of customer retention campaigns for repeat business
Marketing Support
Market Research: Help deliver primary and secondary research that helps define market assumptions and consumer behaviours from customer feedback and current trends
Marketing Initiatives: Support customer promotions/contests and motivational initiatives to focus on business sales objectives

Academic & Professional Qualifications
Tertiary qualification preferred
Valid driving license (Manual & Automatic)
Functional Knowledge & Skills
Local knowledge – solid understanding of the car market in Kenya
In-depth knowledge of the product, consumer behaviour
Proficiency in Ms Office, ERP or CRM systems & project management
General
Strong communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with others
High degree of resourcefulness; looking beyond the normal channels to understand the market potential of the opportunity
Ability to adapt to a dynamic working environment and work within a diverse team
Ability to grasp complex concepts and systems quickly, and express them in simple ways
