Sales Manager: Pharmaceutical & Personal Care segment

Responsibilities include:
Gathering data on customers, competitors, and market conditions related to the Pharmaceutical and Personal Care industry in Kenya.
Identifying and establishing key contacts within the segment decision makers and main stakeholders.
Estimating the budget along with continuous monitoring of sales vs. budget.
Launching new products within the set geographic territory.
Visiting customers on regular basis and completing visits report .
Planning and forecasting the sales of existing products in coordination with partners.
Optimizing the sales and the margins while controlling receivables and minimizing overdue.
Supporting the development of yearly marketing strategies for the group, including exhibition planning.

Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in Pharmacy is mandatory and a master’s degree will be a plus
3+ years of B2B sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry selling chemical specialties
Strong experience in the pharmaceutical market in Nairobi is mandatory.
Attention to details, motivation and professionalism are mandatory, in addition to a commercial and creative mindset.
Ability to prioritize work and manage concurrent projects and multiple activities.
Strong skills in MS Office, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Knowledge in G-Suite is a plus (Gmail, Sheets, Docs, Slides, Drive and hangout)
Excellent written and oral communication skills: English is mandatory, French is a plus.
Valid driving license and experienced driver
