Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive sales plans to achieve or surpass revenue goals.
Lead and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve their individual and team targets.
Identify and target new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and relationship building.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including travel agents, corporate clients, and event planners.
Negotiate and close contracts with new and existing clients.
Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities and develop effective sales strategies.
Oversee the creation and distribution of sales and marketing materials.
Represent EnglishPoint Marina at industry trade shows, conferences, and events.
Track and report on sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
Follow up with bookers on the payment of groups that have stayed / hosted events at the hotel
Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing, operations, and guest services, to ensure a seamless guest experience.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
Minimum 5 years of experience in hotel sales, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
Strong understanding of the luxury hospitality industry and its sales landscape.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
Ideally proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Fidelio & Micros
Experience working with revenue management systems is preferred.
A results-oriented and highly motivated individual with a strong work ethic.
The ability to travel occasionally may be required.
