Sales Executive (Software Solutions)

Responsibilities:

Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
Develop, lead, and sell the organization’s new line of technologies
Develop an ecosystem of partnerships to promote and widen the reach of their products
Actively seek out new sales opportunities
Set up meetings with potential clients and listen to their wishes and concerns
Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services
Negotiate and finalize deals in accordance with the company’s contract guidelines and policies and handle complaints or objections
Keep a great ongoing relationship with current partners and offer new ways to grow the partnership
Create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data
Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences
Collaborate with team members to achieve better results
Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share it with internal teams

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Business administration/Commerce, Marketing, Accounting, or a related discipline, from a recognized University.
MBA will be an added advantage
IT hardware distribution /partner management exposure in Kenya
5-7 years of experience
Excellent verbal & written communication skills, good selling & negotiation skills
Experience in Partner management
Experience in proactive lead-generation techniques
Technical knowledge & MS Office skills
Understanding of B2B purchasing behavior
Fair understanding of how the SMEs operate
Good understanding of the organization’s policies and processes related to customers and partners.
