About the job

As an I.T or E-commerce Sales Executive, your primary responsibility is to promote and sell the company’s fast-moving consumer goods to retail outlets, wholesalers, and other customers within a designated geographic area. You will be tasked with building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, maximizing sales opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Achieve sales targets and objectives set by the company within assigned territory.
Identify and prospect new customers, including resellers, SME’s and other outlets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure customer loyalty and retention.
Present and promote the company’s products effectively to customers, highlighting key features, benefits, and promotions.
Conduct regular visits to customer locations to assess product availability, merchandising, and display standards.
Negotiate sales agreements, pricing, and terms with customers to maximize profitability while meeting customer needs.
Monitor and analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
Provide feedback to the sales and marketing teams on customer preferences, market dynamics, and product performance.
Coordinate with logistics and distribution teams to ensure timely delivery of products to customers and resolve any delivery issues or concerns.
Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and other promotional events to showcase products and generate leads.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or related field is preferred.
Proven experience in sales, preferably in the I.T or Ecommerce industry or a related field.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively with customers.
Results-oriented mindset with a track record of achieving sales targets and objectives.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage a busy schedule.
Knowledge of sales techniques and strategies, including prospecting, closing deals, and overcoming objections.
Familiarity with the local market and retail landscape within the assigned territory.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software is a plus.
