The role requires someone who connects with people and can build a network of customers. Success in the role requires one to have creative, lead-generating techniques and the drive to exceed sales targets.
Sales Executive Job Duties & Responsibilities
Utilize your relationship and networks to make bring on board new clients and generate sales
Report and give weekly updates on the sales made and leads generated (e.g. weekly status updates and monthly sales reports)
Identify content and event opportunities which can lead to increased sales e.g a new column in Yummy
Magazine or new event concept
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer and partner relationships
Follow up on payments for closed deals to ensure revenue is realized
Qualifications for the Sales Executive Job
At least 2 years’ experience in sales and/or customer service, preferably in the hospitality industry
Familiarity with print and digital media
Prospecting skills and ability to close deals
Enthusiastic, with aptitude for fostering positive relationships
