Sales Engineer – Motor Vehicle Industry

Your role

Achieve/exceed the annual sales target allocated for Kenya and surrounding regions.
Find and develop new customers.
Drive strategic market development for all sales channels, to increase market share and profitability.
Realise (directly or in cooperation with partners) the whole sales process necessary to obtain the order. i.e., identify the opportunity, present proposal, demonstrate value, negotiate and close the deal.
Establish, develop and maintain relationships with customers through visits, telephone calls and digital channels.
Make daily use of our CRM system for customer data, visits, comments, quotes etc.
Participate in seminars, exhibitions and other marketing activities.
Ensure optimal and efficient territory coverage.
Contribute to the development of business plans and sales strategy to achieve targets.

To succeed, you will need

University Degree in mechanical, electrical or mechatronic engineering is preferred.
Fluency in English and Swahili.
Good organizational, planning and following-up skills.
Minimum experience of 5 years in industrial sales.
Good knowledge of general industry markets.
Experience of assembly tools and fastening would be an advantage.
Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
Experience working with CRM tools.
Valid driver’s license.
Passion for sales, dynamic and results orientated.
Effective communication skills.
Team player.
Flexibility.
Strong customer and quality focus, with the ability to keep commitments, seek feedback and continuously drive customer satisfaction.
