Sales Driver

Basic Functions
 
Drive truck or other vehicle over established routes or within an established territory and sell goods. May also take orders and collect payments.

Qualifications

Valid driving license.
Certificate/Diploma in sales and marketing.
2 years and above experience
Experience with FMCG is a plus.
Minimum of one year driving experience within 30-mile radius of store
Ability to manage time and routes for a streamlined delivery experience
Work well independently
Open and transparent communication
Familiarity with GPS devices or map apps

Duties and responsibilities.

Collect money from customers, make change, and record transactions on customer receipts.
Listen to and resolve customers’ complaints regarding products or services.
Inform regular customers of new products or services and price changes.
Write customer orders and sales contracts according to company guidelines.
Collect coins from vending machines, refill machines, and remove aged merchandise.
Call on prospective customers in order to explain company services and to solicit new business.
 Record sales or delivery information on daily sales or delivery record.
Review lists of dealers, customers, or station drops and load trucks.
Arrange merchandise and sales promotion displays, or issue sales promotion materials to customers.
Use route navigation apps and knowledge of area to deliver packages to customers on time
Interact with customers in a professional manner
Work occasional evenings and weekends
Complete daily maintenance checks on delivery van and notify manager of any issues
