Sales Associate

Job Purpose:

The sales and Relationship Officer is a point of contact between the company and the customers. S/he is responsible for serving customers by selling products and meeting customer needs 

Duties and responsibilities:

Manage transactions with customers using cash registers 
Manage large amounts of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner 
Follow communication “scripts” when handling different topics 
Identify customers’ needs, clarify information, research every issue and provide solutions and/or alternatives 
Seize opportunities to upsell products when they arise 
Build sustainable relationships and engage customers by taking the extra mile 
Collect payment both in cash and credit 
Redeem client stamps and coupons 
Issue receipts, refunds and tickets 
Preparing sales proposals for potential buyers 
Ensuring clients are well informed about products
