Sales and Marketing Manager

The ideal candidate will be a critical actor in the projected growth, crafting and executing a business development strategy for our fast-growing digital media group. Operating across three functions – business development, sales & marketing and donor partnerships – s/he will drive income growth across diverse vectors, units and jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership: Recruit, train and motivate high-performing teams across all commercial functions.
Project Management: Design work plans and budgets for several parallel streams of activity
Data Analysis: Undertake rigorous online and offline research and analysis to underpin strategy, including market demand; competitor assessment; forecasting and developing annual sales quotas
Marketing: Lead development of the company’s marketing function to achieve market penetration and sales growth through different avenues including performance marketing, outreach and referrals.
Sales: Lead sales channels to meet and exceed revenue targets.
Business Development: Continuously monitor the market for potential products and partnerships that enhance profitability and reach of the Group’s capabilities and brand.
Partnerships: Drive visibility through thought leadership, relationship management and communications and outreach to position the Group as go-to target in creative, tech and youth unemployment ecosystems.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
Masters degree or CIM will be an added advantage
Over 8 years experience in marketing or related field
Strong creative, analytical and communication skills
Tech-savvy, fast learner with a blend of global and regional experience.
