Revenue Management Intern

Job Description

Analyze market trends and competitor pricing to optimize room rates and revenue.
Develop and implement pricing strategies, monitor room inventory across distribution channels, and use revenue management software to generate reports and analyze performance metrics.
Collaborate on promotional offers and packages, and evaluate revenue management strategies.
Participate in weekly revenue management meetings, prepare agendas, and present weekly revenue items.
Monitor transient potential and group bookings daily to set pricing and availability control for all reservation distribution sources.
Maintain records of market segments, forecasts, and competitive set pricing, and complete market analysis based on competition and historical data.
Ensure rate plans are correctly indexed, loaded, and distributed to all channels, and resolve rate leakages in a timely manner.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
