Job Purpose
Responsible for managing the daily operations of the Restaurant.
Delivers revenue and profits by marketing, financing and providing appealing restaurant services and managing staff.
Duties for the Restaurant Manager Job
Attracts patrons by developing and marketing advertising , public and community development programs
General oversee an manage all areas of the restaurant and make final decisions an matters of importance.
Adhere to company standards and service levels to increase sales and minimize costs, including food, beverage, supply , utility and labor costs.
Responsible for ensuring that all financial and personnel / payroll related administrative duties are completed accurately on tome and in accordance with company policies and procedures
Estimate food and beverages costs. Work with corporate office staff for efficient provisioning and purchasing of supplies.
Estimate food needs, places orders with distributors and schedule the delivery of fresh food and supplies.
Ensure positive guest service in all areas. Respond to complaints, taking any and all appropriate actions to turn dissatisfied guest into return guests.
Ensure all security procedures in place to protect employees, guests and company assets.
Ensure safe working and guest environment to reduce the risk of injury and accidents.
Investigate and resolve complaints concerning food quality and service.
Provide direction to employees regarding operational and procedural issues. Direct hiring, supervision, development and when necessary , termination of employees.
Develop employees by providing feedback, establishing performance expectations and by conducting performance reviews.
Provide strong presence in local community and high level of community involvement by restaurant and personnel.

Ability to multitask
A college degree is preferred. Bachelor of Science in hotel / restaurant management is desirable.
Practical experience of 5 yrs in similar role.
