Our client in the NGO sector is seeking a partnership manager to support an anticipated international donor-funded Inclusive Africa Program (IAP). The IAP is a five-year, multimillion-dollar regional initiative that aims to create socio-economic opportunities for young men and women with disabilities in Kenya, South Africa, and Ghana through enhanced digital accessibility. The program’s strategic objective is to cultivate an environment that enables young individuals with disabilities to access digital economic opportunities by advancing digital accessibility policy, facilitating stakeholder engagement, driving digital innovation and entrepreneurship, amplifying youth voices, and establishing industry best practices.

Requirements
Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree in a business-related course.
Minimum 7-10 years in partnerships development experience
African region experience required
Knowledge of fundraising, marketing or business development principles
Strong leadership and team management skills, with a demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate teams.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
Proven ability to conceptualize, plan, and execute partnership events of varying sizes, scopes, and objectives.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement a comprehensive partnership engagement strategy that aligns with business goals and objectives.
Create target lists of new prospects through contact databases for outreach campaigns.
Manage and enhance relationships with existing partners.
Develop strategies for partnership growth and integration and identify and negotiate new partnerships.
Oversee the development of partner offerings, monitor partnership performance, and ensure alignment with the goals of the program.
Acts as a liaison between partners and internal teams, facilitating communication and project execution to ensure the success of the partnerships.
Oversee the planning, execution, and evaluation of partnership-related events, including managing budgets and ensuring successful delivery.
Collaborate with teams across the organization to ensure that partnership initiatives are integrated into broader strategies
Lead a team of event coordinators and manage deliverables, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment to strengthen partnerships.
Lead post-event evaluations to assess success, highlight key outcomes, and identify areas for improvement in partnership effectiveness.
Prepare comprehensive reports for the executive team and stakeholders, offering actionable insights to strengthen future collaborations.
