Research, Marketing and Content Analyst Head of Marketing

Job Purpose

The research, marketing, and content analyst is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting the current market data leading to strategic marketing initiatives and create compelling content. This role holder support the organization’s goals and objectives through a blend of analytic prowess, creativity, and marketing acumen. The role   holder is also responsible for conducting market research, identifying trends, developing marketing strategies, and crafting engaging content across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Market Research:

Conduct thorough market research to identify industry trends, competitive landscapes, and customer preferences.
Utilize both qualitative and quantitative research methods to gather data and insights.
Analyze market data and present findings to inform decision-making processes.
Monitor industry news, reports, and publications to stay abreast of market developments.

Marketing Strategy Development:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with business objectives.
Translate market insights into actionable strategies to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and retention.
Identify target audiences and segment markets to tailor marketing efforts effectively.
Assist in the development of marketing campaigns, promotions, and initiatives.

Content Creation:

Develop compelling and relevant content for various marketing channels, including websites, social media, emails, blogs, and advertisements.
Write engaging copy, articles, blog posts, and other content materials that resonate with target audiences.
Ensure content aligns with brand voice, messaging, and style guidelines.
Collaborate with designers, videographers, and other creative professionals to produce multimedia content.

Performance Analysis and Reporting:

Track and measure the performance of marketing campaigns and content initiatives.
Analyze key metrics such as website traffic, engagement, conversion rates, and ROI.
Generate regular reports and presentations to communicate insights, trends, and recommendations to stakeholders.
Identify opportunities for optimization and improvement based on data analysis.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or related courses.
Diploma in Business Administration or marketing.
Two years’ experience in a similar or related field, preferably in consulting, is an advantage.
Member of a marketing professional body.
Experience in research, graphic design and content development.
Experience in Search engine optimization (SEO) practices and related tools.
Expertise in Google Analytics.
Strong data analysis skills.
Critical thinking abilities.
Time management and planning skills.
Effective communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office, design and development tools and CRM software.
Ability to build rapport.

Proven experience in research, content development or a relevant role.
Knowledge of the market.
Understanding of research methods and analysis.
Computer savvy with working knowledge of IT systems.
