Key Responsibilities:
Assessing study participants and establishing health care needs.
Planning and implementing research related procedures as per specific study protocols. Ie
Project enrolment
Working closely with the Community health promoters
Liaison officer between the Project and the health facility staff
Ensuring infection prevention control at the site
Assisting in data collection at the study site
Providing health education and counselling on identified health and socio-economic needs to patients/clients.
Completing data capture as per specific study protocol.
Referring patients and clients appropriately.
Ensuring quality control on nursing documents.
Ensuring a tidy and safe clinical environment.
Ensuring safe custody of the nursing equipment and nursing records
Any other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Vacancy Requirements:
Diploma in any of the following disciplines: Kenya Registered Community Health Nursing, Nursing, Kenya Registered Midwifery, Nursing/Midwifery, Nursing/Mental Health and Psychiatry or any other equivalent qualification from a recognized institution. Mandatory
Registration Certificate issued by the Nursing Council of Kenya. Mandatory
Valid Practicing Licensing from the Nursing Council of Kenya; Mandatory
Experience in Research/Clinical trials Mandatory
Proficiency in computer application skills from a recognized institution. Mandatory
Organizational Skills Mandatory
Communication Skills Mandatory
Interpersonal skills Mandatory
Team player Mandatory
