Main Responsibilities
Map the end-to-end vendor journey with a view to position Jumia as the most preferred vendor partner for ecommerce and on-demand services
Proactively identify vendor pain points through a culture of deep dive to ensure appropriate improvement initiatives can be activated
Identify opportunities for automation and optimization such as vendor self-service, automation of vendor experience agents and criteria for delisting
Continuously enhance product quality through regular reporting of metrics such as out of stock, drop off and return pick up service level agreements
Create a knowledge-centre to ensure navigation of critical information on vendor centre and a one-stop shop for vendor communication tools
Required Skills & Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in business management, engineering, or social sciences
3 – 5 years of operations experience in a similar capability; with experience in process mapping and project management
Expected personal skills:
Demonstrated ability to problem-solve and deep-dive on complex challenges, leveraging on data as a key parameter for decision-making
Extensive experience in process-mapping and work-flow management in an operations-centric setting
Stellar project management and execution skills to navigate project milestones end to end
Strong influencer, leveraging on clear and concise communication to manage relevant stakeholders in operations, marketing and commercial that holistically shape shopping experience
