Regional Sales Representative

Overview of the role
To plan and execute sales activities in order to meet agreed targets and sales volumes, manage the dealer network and to act as a point of contact for existing and potential customers within the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Pipeline

Selling products and services using solid arguments to prospective customers
Maintaining positive business relationships with an existing dealer network to ensure retention and future sales
Reporting on regional sales results (weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually)
Presenting our products and services to potential clients, identifying specific consumer characteristics and recommending ways to promote and sell our products.

Sales Promotions

Plan and implement sales promotions, product demos in events and exhibitions suited for the product range
Ensure proper and adequate branding consistent with branding protocols
Align sales activities with existing and potential market demands

Dealer Network

Manage dealer network to drive results ( recruitment, retention and profitability)
Be a link between the dealers and the company in the assigned territory
Train dealers on new products as well as customer service skills
Ensure a harmonious dealership network by timely resolution of any dispute.

Business Development

 Identify local business opportunities and challenges
Performing cost-¬benefit analyses of existing and potential customers
Recruit and retain customers in collaboration with the existing dealer network

Information Management

Ability to use data to segment customers and prospects to ensure optimal use of company resources
Ability to synthesize management information with internal and external stakeholders
Gather competitor market intelligence and disseminate to necessary teams/departments
Generate and maintain an active database of customers and key contacts

Qualifications

Bachelors Degree with specialization in Sales or Marketing
Highly/Intrinsically motivated to meet sales goals
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Sales Representative or in a similar role with a minimum of 2 years in the specific region we are recruiting
Experience with CRM software
Resilient with a proven track record in sales
Computer literate-competent in the use of Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
Be a holder of a clean driver`s license
Ready to work long hours and extended travel periods to meet work and customer

Additional Information
Gross Salary: Ksh 80k-100k plus commission.
