What you’ll be doing:
Achieve revenue targets for Kenyan Market as set by the business
Develop new and existing relationships with Intermediaries, key decision makers and influencers
Seek out and close new business opportunities within the intermediary channel for SME and Individual business lines
Develop “Playbooks” to ensure delivery of targeted Intermediary strategies and initiatives designed to boost portfolio growth
Analyse market trends, customer needs and competitor dynamics, and formulate corresponding sales strategies and business development plans to support growth and expansions
Work closely with marketing, product, customer service and other departments to ensure that sales strategy and marketing activities are aligned to support the overall business objective
Support Key account growth with tailored up sell and cross sell strategies
Develop “Playbooks” to ensure delivery of targeted Intermediary strategies and initiatives designed to boost portfolio growth
Ensure that Intermediaries knowledge of OM/AGH proposition remains optimized and up to date with best practice and innovations, through delivery of training and engagement sessions
Accountable for management of PPA /Tenders for AGH, including pitches and presentations to secure portfolio growth.
Assist in continued development of OM/AGH proposition, ensuring that products and services continually meet needs of the target audience
What we’re looking for:
Proven business development experience with a track record of consistently achieving targets
Excellent understanding of the market and our competitors.
Strong relationship and account management experience – ability to maintain, develop and grow existing relationships in a professional manner
In depth knowledge of the international health market, particularly the Intermediated market
Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively in a standalone role
Customer centric – maintain a customer focused approach at all times
Ability to work collaboratively across global AXA businesses and regions; confident at negotiating and strongly influencing at all levels in a complex matrix organization
Commercial awareness – the ability to establish and identify opportunities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to create and deliver presentations to all levels
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and comfortable with learning new systems and platforms as necessary
Ability to travel internationally and across Kenya as and when required.
