RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leadership and Team Management: Provide leadership, guidance, and direction to branch managers, store managers, and other staff within the region. Set performance expectations, coach team members, and foster a positive and productive work environment.
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives to achieve sales targets, increase market share, and drive business growth within the region. Align regional objectives with company goals and objectives.
Operational Excellence: Oversee the day-to-day operations of branches or stores within the region, ensuring adherence to company policies, procedures, and standards. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales, profitability, inventory levels, and customer satisfaction.
Sales and Marketing: Develop and execute sales strategies, promotional campaigns, and marketing initiatives tailored to the needs of the region. Conduct formal direct sales activities and presentations to the wholesalers.
Customer Service: Maintain high levels of customer service are maintained across all locations within the region. Address customer complaints or concerns in a timely and effective manner, striving to exceed customer expectations.
Sales: Achieve sales targets set for the assigned area Identify opportunities to expand the customer base and increase revenue.
Training and Development: Identify training needs within the region and implement programs to develop the skills and capabilities of branch managers and sta. Provide ongoing coaching and support to help team members reach their full potential.
Reporting and Analysis: Prepare timely, regular reports and analysis on regional performance, highlighting key trends, opportunities, and challenges. Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement.
Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management, corporate departments, and external partners. Serve as the primary point of contact for regional matters.
Any other duties as assigned by Supervisor, Line Manager or H.O.D.
PREFFERED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
A Bachelor’s Degree in Bcom or any business related.
Minimum of 5 Years experience in a similar role in FMCG.
Strong understanding of retail sales principles and customer behavior.
Creative flair and an eye for detail to create visually appealing displays.
Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and store staff.
Knowledge of current market trends and competitor activities in the retail industry.
