Role Description:
We are bringing on a Director of Branch Operations who will report directly to the CEO. Your job will be the overall management and growth of all Penda Health clinics including people management (branch staff and managers), financial management, risk management, patient satisfaction, and quality assurance.
Role Responsibilities:

Management Team Seat: Analyze business operations, develop strategic initiatives and be a thought partner with senior business executives.
Branch Performance: Develop and track KPI’s and use dashboard reporting to ensure that branches are meeting performance targets.
Process Standardization: Streamline existing operating procedures and develop new SOPs, Process Maps, and Manuals where needed. Ensure excellent patient experiences for every patient, every time.
Management of Branch Staff: Hire, train, and lead Penda’s branch teams to give their absolute best to our patients, company, and community. Evaluate branch manager performance and provide guidance when needed.
Staff/Manager Growth: Act as a coach and mentor for all branch managers. Give technical and soft skills training on a regular basis to ensure constant growth. Develop an internal management pipeline for upcoming clinics.
Today 4 of our 7 branches are run by internally promoted Branch Managers and 1 of our Area Managers is an internal promotion. We want you to keep up with that trend!

Patient feedback: Foster a culture of fast response time to patient feedback by modeling that curiosity and excitement yourself.
Branch Operations: Juggle the million moving pieces of branch operations.

Requirements:

Experience managing and growing managers
Strong analytical skills & Excel skills
Knowledge of finance/accounting basics
Fluency in Swahili and English
Previous experience in either the healthcare or hospitality sectors is a plus
MBA or management training program attendance is a plus
