Description
We are seeking to fill our Regional Sales Director position with an enthusiastic and autonomous individual, who also has a strong work ethic and a commitment to teamwork. This position reports to ABC EXPAT Managing Director and has responsibility of designing and implementing of the sales and marketing strategy, including achieving sales goals, developing an online marketing online strategy and proposal preparation. It is a cross-discipline and strategic position in a fast-growing company.
Responsibilities
Design and implements the group commercial strategy within East Africa market
Secure company’s growth revenue by developing sales and expand client base
Strengthens the group’s branding in Africa through digital marketing campaigns
Prepare, plan & implement local marketing events, strategies & initiatives
Identify market trends & suggest improvements in the company strategy
Improve product marketability and profitability by researching, identifying and capitalizing on market opportunities
Update & maintain continuously internal marketing database to precisely reflect sales activities & prospect clients
Prepare monthly, quarterly & yearly sales projections
Deliver sales presentations to prospective clients with a successful closing rate
Initiate new business opportunities with foreign business communities in Kenya
With management, design and implement company’s online marketing campaigns
Generate revenue through sales’ contribution with new corporate/individual accounts
Strengthen brand recognition through marketing, communication & public relations
Maintain and expand corporate clients’ database through meetings and networking
Sustain existent customer rapport with key accounts
Suggest new processes to optimize the company’s business and operating models
Report and provide sales weekly reports to management using statistical data
Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options
Maintain active participation and membership in networking organizations
Profile
Master’s degree in Sales, Business Development, Marketing, communication or closely related field
Fluent in written & spoken French, English. Any other foreign language is a plus
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales & marketing
At least 5 years working experience in western countries markets (In France will be an added advantage)
Proven sales experience with track record of over-achieving sales quota
Exceptional communication & presentation skills
Detailed oriented, focused & methodical
Proven transformative leadership skills
Working knowledge of expatriation market dynamics and requirements
Self motivated and results driven
Customer service focus and attention to detail
Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
Computer use competency (MS Pack Office)
Proficiency in community management in social media
Hands-on experience in web content tools, like WordPress
