The individual will be mandated to manage design projects from start to finish i.e sketch design plans, determine costs for different projects, source materials and products for the designs, inspect construction to ensure alignment with design specifications etc.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage design projects from start to finish
Interpret and translate client needs into space plans
Implement the design phase of projects from concept to completion
Conduct site surveys and define project requirements during briefing
Consider materials and costs and prepare furnishing estimates
Source for Sample or develop Mood boards and 3D renders
Prepare and make client presentations, prepare detailed working drawings and plans
Procure written quotes for design elements, furnishing and materials
Conduct on-site design supervision and provide recommendations to help streamline projects
Take, circulate and maintain project meeting minutes
Identify new businesses and sell services to potential clients
Required Specifications:
Demonstrable working experience in designing Interior spaces
At least 5 years of relevant experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design(Construction) or Architecture
Proficient in ArchiCAD / AutoCAD, Sketchup, 3DMax/Revit, Illustrator/Photoshop or other design programs
Excellent portfolio of previous works
Creative talent, imagination, and an eye for detail
Posses great project management skills, communication and presentation skills
