Radiographer

The radiographer will operate imaging equipment such as X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs to assist in diagnosing and monitoring patients’ medical conditions. They will also ensure patient safety by following radiation protection guidelines, positioning patients correctly, and maintaining high-quality imaging standards.

Roles and Responsibilities

To perform high quality imaging procedures and provide accurate and timely reports to clients
Adhere to infection control measures
Basic maintenance and safety of imaging equipment
Administration of contrast to clients

Qualifications and Experience

Diploma in medical imaging sciences from a recognized institution.
Degree in diagnostic radiography or higher diploma in medical imaging sciences (ultrasound) will be an added advantage.
Registration with KNRA, with a valid practicing license.
At least three (3) years’ experience in a hospital imaging department
