Quality Assurance Officer Cheese Production Supervisor

Key Responsibilities.

Materials quality checks before receiving.
Raw milk Quality analysis before Receiving.
Monitoring Processing quality parameters.
Proactively verify daily operational activities between Planning, Processing, Packing, Quality and Stores.
Staff Training: Staff training on specific SOPs and GMPs requirements as per the schedule.
GMPs and personnel hygiene monitoring.
Housekeeping: Monitoring and strict adherence to GMPs including colour codes, Glass and wood policy and strict adherence to Personnel Hygiene by all staff.
Verification of Equipment Cleaning and sanitation:
Accurate documentation and Record keeping.
Sampling of products and materials for analysis.
Microbiological analysis of drawn samples as per the schedule.
Monitoring of raw materials and Finished products storage and handling
Dispatch process Monitoring.
Handling Market returns and customer complaints
Prepare daily quality reports in relation to production activities to the Quality Team Lead.
Audits: Conduct process and systems audit. In liaison with the quality head, food safety coordinator; conduct the audits as scheduled.
Handling non-conforming materials/ products- Segregate, clearly label with the HELD stickers, document and communicate to all relevant stakeholders for actioning.
Conduct traceability and mock withdrawal exercises.

Education and Experience

A College Degree or Diploma, preferably dairy/food-technology, B Sc. Food Science & Technology BSc. Microbiology.
≥3 years working experience in dairy/food-processing.
Experience in a processing role in a FMCG industry.
Experience in Quality Assurance duties and responsibilities in a busy FMCG industry.
Experience in food microbiological analysis.
Efficient in scientific reporting and good knowledge in MS- office applications.
