Organizational Specific Objectives 

Alleviate poverty by improving economic status of vulnerable communities through enhanced food production by providing farm implements and inputs and diversification of income generating activities
Enhance emergency response and livelihood crisis intervention through provision of Food/Cash/Non-food items Relief kits delivery, Livestock take-off /re-stocking, Water trucking to pastoralists and provision of temporary shelters.
Improve access to Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) conditions of the poor communities through construction and/or rehabilitation of water catchment dams, installing water tanks and construction of underground water tanks, provision of sanitation facilities and hygiene awareness training and promotion hygiene education.
Improve access to education by children and youth through provision of facilities, teaching and learning materials.
Eradicate harmful cultural practices like Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) and early marriages.
Increase opportunities for youth and Adult to further their education through distance learning.
Improve health status of communities through health education; environmental cleanliness, hygiene promotion and increasing access to primary health and child care centers in area of operation.
Enhance environmental education, awareness and participation in environmental protection and conservation activities by the communities
Promote peaceful co-existence and proactively resolve conflicts
Empower the youth to contribute to the social, economic and political development of their community
Create awareness of issues surrounding children in difficult circumstances with particular regard to child abuse and neglect livelihood.

Quality Assurance 

Quality Assurance Manager will lead the quality management efforts across all phases of project management and implementation, ensuring that all deliverables meet or exceed specified quality standards. This role requires a proactive candidate who can develop and enforce quality protocols, manage quality control processes, and collaborate effectively with project teams and stakeholders to achieve project success. The QA Manager will ensure compliance with regulatory standards, drive continuous improvement, and uphold a culture of quality within the organization.

Job Description 

Developing Quality Standards and Process. 

QA Managers design, document, and implement quality standards, control systems and protocols tailored to the project’s needs ensuring adherence to project or organizational benchmarks.

Creating Quality Assurance Plans

He/she develop a detailed QA plan that outlines objectives, activities, timelines, and resources to guide quality assurance efforts throughout the project lifecycle.

Conducting Quality Audits

Regular audits, assessments, and reviews are conducted to ensure processes and outputs maintain consistent quality, helping identify areas for improvement early.

Risk Management

They assess potential risks related to quality and work proactively with the project team to mitigate these risks, including addressing process gaps or deviations from standards.

Collaborating with Stakeholders

QA Managers work closely with project teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to communicate quality standards and expectations, adopting a culture of quality.

Donor Reporting 

Cross-check the quality of the donor reporting before submission in multisectoral aspect to frame-mark, components necessary need and missed or quality requirement inclusion

Documentation

Detailed documentation and quality reporting help keep stakeholders informed of quality statuses and enable tracking of quality trends over time.

Implementation Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) 

When quality issues arise, QA Managers coordinate corrective actions to address root causes and implement preventive measures to avoid recurrence.

Ensuring Compliance 

QA Managers verify that project practices align with regulatory requirements of the organization, organization policy, donor expectation risks that may associate with. 

Education:

Advanced University Degree (Master’s Degree or equivalent) with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; OR 
 First Level University Degree (Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent) with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience; OR
If an applicant lacks university qualifications s/he must have at least 11 years of relevant experience with internationally recognized demining organizations.

Work Experience:

Relevant experience is defined as experience in management in a quality assurance, humanitarian, conflict, post-conflict, or development context.
At least 3 years of experience in operations planning and/or management is required;
Computer literacy, in particular experience of using MS Office.

Competencies in Managerial/Leadership:

Good analytical and reporting skills with attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal and time leadership skills and being able to meet deadlines.
Good communication and social skills and ability to work as part of a team as well as independently.

Languages:

Fluent in spoken and written English
