The successful jobholder will be expected to:
Develop comprehensive test plans and scripts based on functional requirements, design documents, and user interface specifications.
Execute tests, log results, and troubleshoot issues while ensuring non-functional requirements are met.
Set up and verify test environments to ensure accurate test execution.
Acquire and prepare necessary test data to support test execution.
Update and incorporate changes into testing documentation, ensuring consistency across projects and releases.
Identify and recommend improvements to testing processes and methodologies.
Qualifications, Skills & Attributes
The successful jobholder will be required to possess the following qualifications:
A bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
2+ years in a relevant IT/Systems role with proven experience in test case creation, UAT execution, and bug reporting.
Proficiency with functional and non-functional testing tools.
Strong knowledge of system testing and software quality control best practices.
Experience in API testing.
Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to interpret client needs and communicate solutions effectively.
Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
Capable of working under pressure and independently.
