Deploy and Maintain Quality culture
Drive Quality Transformation Deployment on site
Set and aligns with Supply chain, manufacturing and commercial the quality agenda and focus areas for the site and deployment across the site defining Q&FS priorities, objectives, and accountabilities
Develop, implement, and maintain robust Quality systems and ensure internal and external verification
Implement Mars Quality and Food Safety standards
Manage Q&FS function on site
Manage lab operations (Internal/External)
Accountable for Q&FS incident on site and manage external lab relationship
Accountable for Hold/Release management and management of PRIMP in collaboration with the Site management team, representing R&D in site incident mgmt. team.
Support Flawless Execution of all technical changes on the Site which potentially impacts KQAs, Food Safety and Legal Product parameters.
Support Implementation of new Products, Recipes and processes up to achieving Self-Sufficiency.
Responsible for the Site continuous improvement Plan.
Represent R&D on site as permanent member of the factory management team.
Lead, organize and prepare Quality reviews (e.g., SQM).
Manage all product and primes Q&FS nonconformities incl. handling all technical aspects of consumer complaints.
Accountability for the change management process & Quality Continuous improvement program
Overseas the approval of raw and packaging material vendors, plant line operations, warehouse and transportation systems, and other contractual business relationships on a site level
Assure all products produced in the site are processed and packed according to specified requirements and agreed product designs.
Manages raw material, primes and product conformance, quality holds, product recalls / retrievals, determines the disposition of non-conforming products with the Regional / country Q&FS leads.
Recommends & oversees the implementation of corrective actions and the site continuous improvement process
Manages Q&FS’s team development, succession planning and acts as administrative leader for the function.
Knowledge & Experience
Education: Graduate or Post Graduate Degree in (Food science, Food technology, or Science). Solid understanding of Quality, Food Safety Standards, Food processing and manufacturing knowledge.
