Job Role Description
We are looking for a Restaurant Manager, a Restaurant manager for one of our high-end Restaurants. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth, efficient, and profitable operation of the restaurant. He/she will also ensure that the restaurant and kitchen are operated in conformity with the highest possible professional standards.
Key Roles And Responsibilities
Management and Leadership:
Lead, train, and motivate the service team.
Conduct daily briefings to facilitate communication, training, and policy updates.
Schedule staff rotations and duties, arranging extra help as needed.
Maintain discipline and conduct staff appraisals.
Resolve guest and staff complaints and grievances.
Represent the restaurant in Food and Beverage meetings.
Check mise-en-scene and mise-en-place done by the team.
Operations Coordination
Coordinate with the chef for menu offers and operational coordination.
Coordinate with other departments for the smooth supply of operational supplies.
Oversee inventory of service equipment, cutlery, crockery, and glassware.
Check the restaurant for maintenance issues and resolve them.
Ensure the safety and hygiene of the restaurant.
Responsible for proper billing and cash recovery for services rendered.
Meet and greet guests, building a personal guest database.
Coordinate with Kitchen, Stewarding, Housekeeping, Accounts, Engineering, and Security departments for various operational matters.
Develop innovative ways to boost restaurant sales.
Customer Service and Training
Train the team to provide excellent customer service.
Ensure staff have thorough knowledge of food and beverage offerings and SOPs.
Analyze bar stock profitability and make recommendations.
Conduct regular appraisals of the F & B staff.
Coordinate the operations of various sections of the main restaurant.
Handle guest and staff complaints and take corrective measures.
Suggest improvements to the Food & Beverage Services Manager.
Work with the team to meet sales targets and ensure customer satisfaction.
Fulfill any other duties delegated by the General Manager.
Qualifications And Education Required
Relevant Degree/ diploma.
The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of management experience in a fine dining setup.
3 Years of working experience as a Restaurant Manager.
Customer service-oriented with a positive can-do attitude.
Excellent leadership and team-building skills.
Extensive knowledge and passion for food, beverage, and industry trends. Capable of effectively and efficiently delegating multiple tasks Well-organized and detailed-oriented Have a high degree of emotional intelligence and self-confidence.
Be able to remain rational and calm under pressure. Be able to stand or walk for an extended period.
