We are hiring for the role of Purchase Executive for the reowned steel manufacturing Industries based out at Kenya location
Roles And Responsibilities
Conduct product research and sourcing new suppliers and vendors
Source material, goods, and services and negotiate the most cost-effective contract and deals
Performing inventory inspection and reordering supplies and stock
Conduct market research to remain updated about emerging trends and business opportunities
Inspect stock and report any faulty item or inconsistencies immediately
Update and maintain records of all orders, payment, and received stock
Skills And Qualification
Bachelor degree in business, logistics, or related field
Candidate must have a working experience in steel industry or other manufacturing industry.
Must possess a minimum of 3 years of experience as a purchase executive
Proficiency in relevant management software programs
Superb negotiation skills
Great organization and planning skills
Able to identify market trends and make the decision in a high-stress environment
Able to follow client specifications
Punctual, reliable and must have strong communication skill
Able to work in a team and produce quality output under tight deadlines
Strong verbal and oral communication skills
Self-motivated and strong analytical skills
