The successful candidates will have the following qualifications and abilities:
An Engineering degree – 2nd Class upper degree from a recognized university.
Projects Management Qualifications – degree or Diploma from a recognized institution.
Minimum five years’ work experience, three of which must be in a Consulting Firm with responsibility for project implementation, supervision or management.
A proven record in contracts management with good negotiation skills.
A driver’s license and basic computer skills.
Possession of MS Project skills and Project Management certification will be an added advantage.
Integrity, hard work ethic and good presentation skills.
Reporting to a Department Manager, the Project Engineer will be expected to prepare tender bids, negotiate contracts, prepare project implementation schedules and report, and communicate with all project stakeholders.
