RA International is currently looking for a well experienced Project Scheduler to be based in Kenya, having Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field. Extremely proficient in using MS Project, Primavera, MS Excel, MS Word. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in scheduling complex projects.

The schedulers primary role is to plan delivery of project. he shall work closely with the bid/proposal team in the initial stages and with the project implementation team/engineering team when the project becomes live. In order to meaningfully contribute to delivery, the scheduler will be required to liaise with and draw from the management team, procurement team, engineering team and human resources team as well as vendors/manufacturers.
Work with the project team to “paint a time picture” of the project that reflects the team’s vision of how the project will be performed, and gain consensus by all parties involved. Define an appropriate WBS in line with the adopted project development and project delivery strategy.
Develop and maintain appropriate and accurate schedules to support efficient execution of work, cash flows and cost forecasts.
Maintain the schedule, optimise change outcomes and advise the project team on performance.
Identify activities impacting the schedule’s critical path and facilitating the identification and rectification measures.
Provide comprehensive and accurate schedule reports utilizing data from both systems and contractor supplied information, including an appropriate level of analysis to ensure a “no surprise” approach.
